Meet your new best friend...Inky!! Are you looking for a puppy in the body of a kitten? He's super playful and will run until his heart's content but at the end of the day snuggle up next you and melt your heart. Unsure of his behavior towards dogs or cats, but he has met a handful of new people and welcomed them immediately. "Shy" is not in this kitty's vocabulary. He was born with a slightly smaller left eye (it was checked out at a specialist and everything is good) but also 10 fold the personalilty and unconditional love! He is the coolest cat and looking for his forever family.
Inky has tested positive for FELV (Feline Leukemia Virus). It is only contagious to other cats, and cannot be transmitted to dogs or humans. FELV is usually spread through saliva, blood, urine or feces. This virus can compromise the immune system, but with quick action by you and your vet, these things can be managed effectively. Due to testing positive, Inky will need to be in a home without any cats until he can be retested in 4 months. There is a possibility that his results are false positive as 3 of his littermates tested negative for both FeLV and FIV. No visible signs or symptoms and can live a relatively long life if he is eating a healthy diet and being seen by a vet on a regular basis. He has no idea of his diagnosis and living his best kitty life.... More >
